Samsara is a music album of a Japanese music group The Boring Tapes. It is a Tokyo-based home-recorded chill wave project of Hiromu Koinuma and Sota Kodera. Samsara means the cycle of death and rebirth to which life in the material world is bound, the design idea of this cover is to show the indefinite repetition in graphic form. Prism glass were used in the photography as a experimental tool to create the key visual’s repetition cycle. The project were released in Tokyo in all digital music platforms and physically with CDs and vinyls.
